Surcadia: After a year off from blogging to experience the wonders of triple bypass surgeries, Ted Jauw decided to get off his ass and start writing like an election was going on. Like it mattered. Like he did as well... Ted Jauw is Surcadia. Stringing words and trying to make sense for years and always for others, he is now writing for his self (evidently in the third person). His novel 'The Fourth Choice' - Book One Of the Surcadian Chronicles is published and available at Amazon Kindle now. His biography would be as long and weird as his novel. Artist, author, activist and other things that start with 'A', he also likes African drumming and Anishnaabe singing. His interest in history has led him to dig dinos from the Kansas Chalk to the Hell formation in South Dakota, Wyoming and all the way up to the dino rich tundra of British Columbia. His archaeological digging forays have led him to the Dine in New Mexico, Moundbuilding cultures of the Midwest to the almost extinct tribes hiding in the hills of Big Sur. These days he is digging being a husband (to Kate) and their seven children.
